Handmade Earrings
All handmade earrings are either sterling silver, 14K gold filled, or niobium. Nothing is plated (I have a strong dislike for plated jewelry - it doesn't last).
If you're looking for something to match an outfit, start with either the Swarovski Crystal Earrings or the Custom Earrings Page.
Swarovski Crystal Earrings
 | Whether you're looking for something to match everything, or something to match a specific outfit, this page has a wide variety of earrings to suit your personal taste and color preferences.
The earrings include: - French hook
- Ball and post earrings in classic and new styles, and
- New ear threads
|
Then again, if you can't make up your mind, there's always the color changing earrings...
Handmade Gemstone Earrings
 | Which gemstones are precious and which are semi-precious? In a nutshell, the jewelry industry has banned the use of the term "semi-precious"...A ruby, emerald and sapphire can sell for $100 per carat and a fine Paraiba tourmaline can sell for $20,000 per carat. That seems pretty precious, doesn't it?
|
The industry is struggling what to call those "other gemstones". For some reason, gemstone-varieties-other-than-ruby-emerald-and-sapphire hasn't stuck yet. As a note, old habits die hard, so you will still see the term "semiprecious" used.
Niobium Earrings
 | Niobium earrings are a favorite of people with sensitive ears. Niobium is so well tolerated, in fact, that it is used for medical implants. It makes for good earrings, too.
|
Custom Swarovski Crystal Earrings
 | You've looked at all the handmade earrings and still haven't found what you're looking for. Now what? |
Easy...Design your own. Combine colors and styles to create earrings that are uniquely "you".
SIDEBAR: EARWIRES| Customers rave about the earwires used on these pages. They are longer in the back than most, and they stay on. If you would like to play it extra safe and have some clear rubber backings, they are free with purchase. Just be sure to ask. (If you sleep with your earrings in, you will definitely want some backings.) |
