How long will Empire's Instant Tarnish Remover last? It depends on how often you use it (and whether you spill it or not), but I've had a jar now for two years, and it still has many more years of use...Mind you, I use more silver cleaner than most.

Empire's will instantly clean:
Sterling or silver plated articles, silver flatware, diamonds, fine jewelry and costume jewelry.

Do not use on the following:
Pearls, opals, other porous stones, painted jewelry, aluminum, stainless steel or pewter.

Other useful information:
Non-flammable and will not evaporate
